Patient Instructions

Hot Zone:

When you arrive please park in one of the disabled parking bays directly in front of the walk through.  Stay in your parked vehicle and telephone 01903 826927 to tell the receptionist that you have arrived.  The receptionist may ask for your registration number. They might also go through some administrative procedures with you.

A clinician will pick you up at a designated meeting point and hand you a pack containing shoe covers and a mask.  You must put these on before entering the building.

The clinician will take you to an isolated clinical room where they will do any examinations they need to do.  You will then be asked to return to your car and wait.

During the consultation please try not to touch any surfaces unless being asked to do so by the clinician.  Please follow their instructions carefully.

Shortly after that, the clinician will call you to let you know the outcome of the consultation and what you need to do. You will be contacted by phone to advise you of the outcome rather than during the assessment.

You can park in the disabled parking bay in our car park however, parking charged are now in force at all times. Even if you have a disabled badge you will need to buy a ticket. There is a pay by phone option if you do not have any change or do not want to touch the machine. Please make sure you use the toilet BEFORE you arrive and please arrive on your own. If you're bringing a child then please make sure only one parent accompanies. Please bring as little as possible with you.
