Patient Instructions

Cold Zone: 

When you arrive please stay in your parked vehicle or wait outside until your appointment time approaches. If you are arriving late please telephone 01903 826927 to tell the receptionist for further advice. They might also go through some administrative procedures with you.

Please DO NOT bring anything with you. If you do bring in anything, could you please leave it in reception before you enter a clinicians room. Please wear a face mask to the surgery, you may be refused entry if you are not wearing one. 

Thermometer screening has been put in place at the front door. If both screening temperature and ear temperature is recorded as high, you will be sent straight home to self-isolate and advised to request a swab via the national website. You can re-book once you have isolated or received a negative result. 

You will have to use the intercom to enter the building. After the receptionist lets you enter you should be expected by the clinical staff at the entry double-door to the clinical site of the practice.  Do not enter without being instructed. You will then be escorted to the examination room. Following the consultation you might be asked to wait in the car to be informed about the outcome of the consultation and further instructions. 

During the consultation please try not to touch any surfaces unless being asked to do so by the clinician.  Please follow their instructions carefully.

You can park in the disabled parking bay in our car park however, parking charged are now in force at all times. Even if you have a disabled badge you will need to buy a ticket. There is a pay by phone option if you do not have any change or do not want to touch the machine. Please make sure you use the toilet BEFORE you arrive and please arrive on your own. If you're bringing a child then please make sure only one parent accompanies. Please bring as little as possible with you.
